Ahhh... Today has been amazing, God has been uncovering many things.

It's been an amazing journaling type of day!  

I'm really excited, it's been a long journey
to get to where I am.

Today, God added the final last piece to the puzzle!

I'm attending a masquerade party this weekend!  A fun excuse to get all dressed up and go dancing.  I'm excited about getting dressed up dress already picked out and hanging out with friends!   

My lovely masks are made, now I get to add pretty sparkly embellishments!  

That's what I've been doing this Thursday afternoon finishing homework early is amazing!!

Friday Ramblings

Today is Friday!  This weekend I've got the crafting bug, literally my hands are itching to make something pretty. 

I got really excited when I saw this lovely picture on Pinterest, I want to paint something similar.  I was content just planning and dreaming of making something like this until I remembered the prefect canvas was waiting just for me!  One of those art classes projects that never actually got fully completed, now all I have to do is just have to find the forgotten canvas... (Easer said then done)

No matter how beautiful you look on the outside

you try to hide it, but you can't.

as you did within the Word, learning

the ways of the Creator.

What what!!

I rode 8.1 miles this morning, still the same allotted time as before.  Now I'm just going faster!!  Today was the 1st time I wanted to just hit snooze and go back to sleep, but guess what??  I DIDN'T!!!  That's half the battle right there.

Well remember when I said I wanted to make a wall display of different pictures of my feet in different places?  I made a little side blog, where I'll post new feet pictures as I encounter new things!  (Kind of hard for me to explain)

Today was wonderful, one of those golden fall days.  

Fairygirl enjoyed our big leaf pile, all of this was just from one tree.  Not looking forward to racking all this up in the coming weeks.

I think I have an obsession with feet, I have this idea; create a wall display with pictures in different places. I think I'll try it and see where it goes

Today I rode 7.5 miles on our bike, and man did if feel good.  There is just something about exercising that makes you feel alive and full of energy.

I haven't really been feeling all that great about my self recently, I'm not happy with how I am looking.  I've been struggling with these feelings for awhile, I kept turning to God to replace these thoughts of insecurity. But I realized something, working out couldn't hurt!  

I'm not going into this thing with just carrots and celery for my diet, I'm still going to eat what I do.  Just in smaller quantities.  I'm not going to devote hours upon hours of working out.  Just 45 minutes.  I'm not going to be constantly weighing myself.  Just once a week.  

I am not going to be backing out of it either: a) it is now public knowledge b) I'm signing up for a 5k in early November.  I'm now accountable for my actions.

I'm excited to see where this will take me, but I'm also wondering what have I done??!

There goes unneeded snacking

I'm taping this onto my mirror so it will be the first thing I see when I wake up.

I won't be able to see an physical results for a while, but I will be able to feel the energy difference

dear 6th grade self..

Paisley peasant tops will be out of style faster then you can throw those shirts away.

Please stop shadowing others, instead take the chance and stand on your own.

Your teeth are straight by the time you're 14; don't let those girls comments go to heart, your smile is uniquely you.

Treasure the daily moment of home school it may seem like forever but soon it will be part of your past.

Those boys are jerks, don't let them scare you for life, guys are nice.  fyi, you were way out of their league, you just didn't realize it.

These next few years will be amazing, they will help shape you into who God made you to be.  Enjoy every minute and store away the little treasures.

Looking back I wish I could shake my younger self...  If you could write a letter to your younger self, what would it say??

1st pair of Toms

I love getting packages in the mail, there is just something about snail mail that you can't replace.

Today I received my first pair of Toms!

I had heard about Toms before, you buy a pair of shoes and a child in third world

country receives a pair because of you.  I was skeptical, but while I was in Haiti I saw many little children wearing Toms, children who other wise would have been barefoot.  Knowing that when I bought a pair of Toms I'm saving a child from foot sours and infection, nothing can get better then that!

When ever I get new shoes I love wondering where they will take me. What new journeys will I experience while wearing these shoes, call me crazy but I get excited when I think of it!
