Tonight my Sis and I will be watching Leap Year with Amy Adams and stuffing our faces with our Target $1.00 snacks (score!)  

I know it's been a little quite over here, but several blog posts are in the making so it won't be quite for long!

Tuesday Tunes: Do Everything

This song keeps popping up around me, thought I would share.  

Love is in the Air, or is it?

Happy smelly flowers and stuffing yourself with chocolate day!  I normally indulge in the second half of that sentence more than the first, not going to lie.

I personally view today as Singles Awareness Day, but I still try and show my family and good friends just how much I love them.    




Tonight I will be, yes inducing in chocolate (milk chocolate preferably) and eating take out chinese while watching sappy chick flicks, my kind of evening for sure!

Turning My ? Into !

So many unanswered questions floating through my head...

How long will this part-time job last?  

Will it continue through the summer?  

What will my summer look like?  

Summer classes?  

9-5 summer job?  

Would I go back to work at my old summer job?  

What if they don't need help?  

Where else could I find a summer job?  

After summer what's next?  

Will I continue at community college?  

Will I transfer?  

If I don't transfer this fall when will I transfer?  

Will I ever transfer?  

How will we be able to finance it?  

Will I be able to finish school without debt?  

Where will I go after college?

   My life is swimming with unknown, I have some basic idea of where things could land, but nothing is pinned down.  It has been helpful knowing what could possibly happen, very helpful considering I need time to process things long before they happen.

   Though this season of my life has been full of uncertainty, God has been teaching me so much through this.  Psalm 119:105 has taken on a whole new meaning.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path." Psalm 119:105

   I've always read this verse visualizing a huge mega light, casting light on all revealing everything.  Recently God has been transforming my picture, instead of a mega light, now a torch stands in it's place; a torch casts just enough light to take your next step.  God doesn't promise to make everything crystal clear,  He does promise that by moment by moment He will reveal the next step, whatever it might be.

  Sometimes I would and still do feel over whelmed with all the question marks, I'm learning to find excitement the unknown, viewing them as opportunities to see God work.

Is this really February??

Seriously, when I saw the lovely sunshine this morning; there was no doubt in my mind, we were going for a walk.   It may have only been in the high 30s, but it felt like spring.

I am now ready for spring.

Awkward Awesome Thursday!

Awkward...
Texting someone and realizing you sent your text to the wrong person, an explanation and major back peddling shortly took place.

How do you tell a guy you don't want to give him your number?  Even if it is for studying,  I have been taught that giving an guy your number, if you're not comfortable with the through of them having your number, even if it's just for study purposes DON'T DO IT!!  I also might have some stranger danger paranoia.

Waking up forty-five minutes late...  I was wide awake once I realized just how little time I had to get to class. Sweat shirt and messy bun kind of day.

Awesome...
Tomorrow is FRIDAY, that right there is reason in and of it's self to celebrate!

I saw that side long glance you gave me, cute comp Boy, just say that word and we can skip class and head to Starbucks.

Putting money in the bank, no matter the amount, it always feels good!

The new Hunger Games trailer is out!!!  I can now bypass the super bowl all together because we all know seeing this new trailer was the only reason behind me watching.
