What makes me uniquely me

What shapes a person into who they are is a life long experience.  We are always changing and molding into what God designed for us to become.  Sometimes it can be painful and other times it can be full of hope.  But no matter what, it is always a step forward never back.

For me it's hard to decipher between shaping events and every other day events.  Mostly, for me shaping happens in two forms, everyday moments that build up to changing how I view others and myself, or the magical moments that radically transform your view of everything around you.

Here are 26 things that make me, me.

--  My middle name isn’t girly or feminine, it’s actually could be used as a guy’s name

-- I’m left handed, but if you teach me something on the right hand I’ll do it with my right
-- I got a Bitty Baby when I was 6 and I went hysterical, like couldn't speak
-- I drove my first car when I was 12 in Montana
-- I’ve climbed a mountain in Kenya
--  I’ve broken a key bone in my face, I forget the name of it now
-- Barbies are nasty, my little sister will not get deceived
-- Swedish fish are the best thing on earth
-- I’ve gone through seven pets and all have died before they reached two months in my house
-- Art is slowly becoming something I love and can’t live without
--  I’ve had five sisters but not all at the same time
-- I was once asked if I would join a swimming team
-- I was born six weeks early and transferred to a different hospital
-- Sometimes I can’t say pronounce words right
-- I’ve been known to burst out laughing for no reason, get used to it
-- I’ve dreamed of opening my own flower shop even though I absolutely do not have a green thumb, I checked
-- I have a high pain tolerance
-- I used to be shy and easily walked over.  I’ve gradually learned how to stand up for myself and be confident in who I am, not an easy thing to learn
--  People used to make fun of me because of my buck teeth, they used to say I could be a hockey goalie, not anymore
-- I love to people watch, try it you never know what you’ll see
--  Doing homework I always have to have sharp pencils, freshly sharpened only
--  I love to take things apart and put them back together, don’t ask why I just do
-- I’ve always wanted to learn to play guitar but I can’t
-- Sometimes I trip over myself
-- I have a goal of traveling all over the world, especially Africa

-- I'm a daughter of the King
