New Plans, New Dreams

2010.. A year full of just about everything.  There were some hard times and good.  Nothing extremely amazing happened within this past year, but a lot of growing happened which is all that really counts. 

2011.. I'm so excited when I think of all that could possibly occur within this coming year. Somethings are certain while others could maybe never happen.  But everything is full of anticipation.
 
Goodbye 2010 you were difficult and enchanting all within the same moment.
Hello 2011 can't wait to see what you unveil for me, dear sweet new year.

Christmas is Underway in This Neck of the Woods!

Today I finished all of my Christmas shopping!

Last year I made every gift, I had a blast crafting up a storm, but my budget didn't.  This year I though, I still couldn't get DIYing out of my system!  So I have a few gifts that will require some decorating and making!!  Can't wait to get my finger in it and see how they turn out!  I'll post them after Christmas to show you what I did, I think you will enjoy it!

This afternoon while I was having alittle school break.  I found this little guy in some homemade fudge that is melt in your mouth deliciousness!  Hope this placed alittle smile on your face!  Now it's back to the books for me.  Just wanted to share.

The Real Meaning Behind CHRISTmas

this has nothing to do with what I'm writing about, but I thought it was pretty

Tonight I was amazed with where God has moved and placed me.  If you had told me that this Christmas I would be helping out with a Christmas program with my local Salvation Army.  I would have told you that was impossible, but that was what I was tonight.  I left feeling like I was right where God had called me in that moment.  I felt full.  Right in the middle of God's hand.

At that moment it struck me, THAT'S what Christmas is really about, serving others to show them Him.  Not about presents, or all the delicious food (although it is very good)  there is so much more to this season.  Find it and you'll know this is where you were meant to be all along.  It's the best place to be in the WHOLE world.

Find a way to place others above yourself this season and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Snow Land!

On this cold Sunday afternoon I feel like I live in a snowglobe.  Snow is just flying everywhere!  My dear Dad has already done our steep driveway three times, the snow just wont stop!  Snow day tomorrow?  That's what I'm thinking :)

On another note, I'm sorry for the lack of pictures on this little spot.  That will change soon I promise.

First Day of December

Today it is December 1st!  The magical month of Christmas is here.  Today was also our first snow fall, seems fitting don't you think?  I thought I was into the Christmas spirit with the Christmas tree up and Christmas music playing.  But NOW I'm officially in the mood!  Merry Christmas Everyone!
